Casric Stars FC was founded in 2012 as FC Palmeiras, playing in the ABC Motsepe League until its name change in 2017. The club’s biggest recent change was purchasing the status of Free State Stars FC before the 2022/23 season, relocating to KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga, changing its logo, and becoming a reputable outfit in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. The club’s home ground is the Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.
