Foundation and Early Years
Casric Stars Football Club was founded in 2012 as FC Palmeiras. Upon its establishment, the club played in the North West stream of the ABC Motsepe League where they made a name for themselves early in their existence.
Name Change
In 2017, the club was renamed to Casric Stars FC which marked the beginning of what it was to become.
Recent Past
The next big step Casric Stars FC took was before the commencement of the 2022/23 season when the club purchased the status of Free State Stars, who were playing in the National First Division, namely the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
Upon this new change, the team moved its basement from the Free State in Bloemfontein to Mpumalanga, KwaMhlanga which was to become their new home. Their home stadium is Solomon Mahlangu Stadium.
The purchase also saw a change in the clubs logo and colours.
Currently, Casric Stars FC compete in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
